El Cuerpo hosts a variety of community events to create spaces for the Latino community to engage and connect with resources around the community. Events are held quarterly.

Stats from 2025:

  • Organized a Latino Senior Social Group that meets monthly at the NHC Senior Center

  • Partner with NourishNc to host their Mobile Market once a month, serving an average of 110 families each month

  • Provided 36 free eye exams and 31 free pairs of glasses

Stats from 2024:

  • Hosted 1100 people at our Annual Back-to-School event in partnership with NHCS and provided 600 students with backpacks and school supplies.

  • Provided 78 free eye exams and 41 pairs of glasses

  • Provided 35 Mammograms through Novant’s Mobile Mammogram bus

  • Hosted 100+ individuals at our Community Health Event- connecting Latinos to local resources
